IFTAR Celebrations
On Tuesday 19th March the children of Year 5 and Year 6 were invited to experience an evening of Ramadan and shared an Iftar meal.
The event was organised by the Muslim children of The Oaks and their parents, so that children of the school could experience the culture and rituals of a day in Ramadan.
To begin the evening some of the children entertained the attendees with a fabulous play, then followed prayers and an amazing feast. It was a fantastic evening enjoyed by all! Thank you to all those involved in organising and those that came along to support the evening.
