Year 3 & 4 Harvest Assembly

Dear Parents and Carers, 

We are very excited to announce the start of our harvest season and the celebrations that come with it.  As part of the celebrations, year groups will be putting on special assemblies on Monday 20th, Tuesday 21st October, Wednesday 22nd October or Thursday 23rd October, which we would love for you to attend.   

Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and 2 assemblies will be held in Burton Hall and access will be via the Infant Playground gate.  Please arrive promptly as there will be no access for late arrivals due to other events happening in school. 

Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 assemblies will be held in Oakley Hall so parents should arrive via the Main School gate.

The times for the assemblies are as follows;

Monday 20th October

Beginning of week Nursery children/ Hedgehog Class

2:30 pm

Tuesday 21st October

Year 3 & Year 4	9:00 am
Year 1 & Year 2	11:00 am

Wednesday 22nd October

Year 5 & Year 6

2:15 pm

Thursday 23rd October

End of week Nursery children/ Squirrel Class

2:30 pm

Year 5’s will also be hosting a special Harvest meal for local special guests and our Year 6’s will help with the food donation distribution.

We are working with Crawley Open House to run a ‘long life’ food drive. Each class will be celebrating the season of giving and giving thanks for the things we have by seeing how many ‘long life’ food items (please see the Crawley Open House poster below) they can collect for those less fortunate. Each class will be collecting items from Wednesday 8th October to Monday 20th October.
