Non Uniform for Summer Fair Items

Fill-A-Jar / Non-Uniform Day - Friday 27th June 2025

The Oaks Summer Fair will be held on 3 rd July 2025. Every year we have a 'Fill-A-Jar' stall which proves very popular indeed.

We would like each child to bring in a jar filled with goodies, in return, children can come into school in normal clothes rather than their uniform.

You can fill the jar with anything you like; small toys, wrapped sweets, pennies, etc. Please could you put a small circle of paper or material over the top of the jar and secure it with an elastic band. If you do have sweets in your jar, we would ask that they are wrapped sweets rather than loose in the jar.

These should then be brought into school on Friday 27 th June. Please take care when bringing in glass jars, it may be a good idea for parents to carry the jars of the younger pupils.

Please also bear in mind that the children should be dressed appropriately and with suitable shoes for playing outside at break time.

The children always enjoy filling their jars and the stall makes lots of money for the school so we do hope you can contribute. We are always very grateful for the jars we get.

Miss Sandow would also be very grateful if you could donate any Jars, Bottles or Tins for the jar & bottle stall at the Summer Fayre. We would really appreciate items such as bottles of wine/beer, fizzy drinks, bubble bath, tins of fruit salad etc. These can be brought into the school office or your child’s class.
