World Book Day 2024

 

On Thursday 7th March we celebrated World Book Day with the theme - Little People, BIG Dreams. The children had a great day taking part in activities linked to a class Little People BIG dreams book. It was fantastic to see all the different costumes and props of lots of different notable people from the Little People, BIG Dreams books.  Through the day we met Lionel Messi, Taylor Swift, Mother Teresa, Michael Jordan, and even Albert Einstein, hearing what children had learnt about their notable character as well as their class character.  KS1 children also enjoyed a special World Book Day assembly with Miss Watkins.

Your child will have already received a free £1 World Book Day token which can be redeemed in participating bookshops until Sunday 31st March 2024.  There are specially published £1 books to choose from this year.  If you would like further information, please visit the World Book Day website .
