Sports News - W/C 11th March
We have had another busy couple of weeks on the sporting front:
On Friday 8th March and Monday 18th March teams of girls went to St Wilfrids to take part in a ‘Let Girls play’ football event, a record-breaking event with over 350,000 girls taking part across England
The girls took part in activities across 8 different skill stations then played friendly matches against the other schools.
On Monday 11th March a group of Year 4 boys went to K2 to take part in a ‘Come along and try football’ event, which was supported by TBCC’s GCSE students. Children were taught lots of new skills and played friendly matches against other schools.
Then finally, on Thursday 14th March a group of children from Magpie class went to K2 for a Badminton festival. The children took part in different activities to help them master badminton as many children hadn’t played before. 
The school has a new girls football kit which Mrs Howe was lucky enough to win in a competition. We look forward to seeing the girls in their new kit at future events. Please remember if your child does borrow one of our kits to return it washed as soon as possible ready for the next event.
