Sports News - 1st February
On Thursday 18th January a team of Year 5/6 children went to ICC to take part in a Netball festival. The children learnt some new skills and then went on to win every match!
On Friday 19th January and Thursday 25th January our Year 5/6 football teams took part in the Inspire Cup. Both the boys and girls team played really well and came in 4th place (out of over 20 schools taking part).
Then on Wednesday 31st January both our girls and boys football teams took part in the TKAT Tournament where all our local TKAT schools came together to play the first match in the TKAT Tournament. The girls won 1, drew 1 and lost 1 and the boys drew 2 matches and won 1. The next round of the cup will be next Wednesday.
On 1st February, some of our Year 5 children attended the Interschools Cross Country event at Oriel. The children had to run a one mile course around the grounds at Oriel High School, Evie came a fantastic 5th out of over 100 girls and qualified for the finals. Congratulations Evie!
Well done to all of those that competed and we wish Evie good luck at the final later this year.
